According to an official announcement on Saturday, Jordan’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, the country’s state grains buyer, announced a new international tender to purchase 120,000 tonnes of animal feed barley. Processed feed barley, mixed and fed to cattle is an excellent feed grain. It can be used in growing and finishing diets for feedlot cattle, as a supplement in forage rations for replacement heifers, and as an energy and protein source for gestating and lactating beef cows.
