    Emirates SkyCargo expands capacity with delivery of new freighter

    In a move that will increase its dedicated freighter fleet to 11, Emirates SkyCargo, a global leader in air freight, has acquired a new Boeing 777F. After departing Boeing’s Paine Field in Seattle, A6-EFT flew to Hong Kong to pick up its first cargo load before landing in Dubai World Central on Saturday, laden with electronics, consumer goods, and general cargo.

    Emirates SkyCargo expands capacity with delivery of new freighterEmirates SkyCargo currently offers scheduled freighter services to 11 destinations. Emirates also offers cargo belly-hold space on its passenger fleet of over 200 wide-body Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft serving over 130 destinations on six continents. More than 2.1 million tonnes of cargo were flown by Emirates SkyCargo last year.
