    A project to drill 20 oil wells in Dhi Qar is underway in Iraq

    The Iraqi Drilling Company announced on Tuesday that drilling for 20 oil wells will begin today in Dhi Qar. Basim Abdul Karim, the company’s general manager, said the technical and engineering staff have begun drilling the first oil well in the Nasiriyah oil field. This is under the contract concluded with Dhi Qar Oil Company in cooperation with Weatherford International Company to provide oil services.

    A project to drill 20 oil wells in Dhi Qar is underway in IraqUsing modern drilling equipment, drilling operations have started and the planned depth of the well is 2200 meters. This project will be implemented in a period not exceeding 18 months by using four modern machines with specific horsepower capacities available to the company.
