    Bahraini speaker receives Indonesian deputy speaker

    Deputy Speaker Nuno Sambono of Indonesia’s Regional Representative Council met with Bahraini Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal. She said that Bahrain and Indonesia have solid bilateral relations based on a shared desire for steady progress and close cooperation. She noted that the two countries’ ties are in good hands under the leadership of President Joko Widodo and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

    Bahraini speaker receives Indonesian deputy speakerBahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has continued to implement quality economic projects. This emphasizes Bahrain’s importance as a global financial center and gateway to the Gulf market. Besides Indonesia’s importance for the vast ASEAN market, the speaker noted the favorable opportunities for bilateral cooperation. The two sides discussed strengthening cooperation through parliamentary support.
