EDGE, the region’s leading provider of advanced technology services, ranked among the top 25 in the world, has announced the appointment of Saif Ali Al Dahbashi to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at AL TAIF, the nation’s leading provider of support services for the UAE’s military land platforms and systems, including maintenance, repair and overhaul, supply chain management, technical training and engineering. AL TAIF is a part of EDGE Group’s Platforms & Systems cluster in the Land division.

EDGE Group entity AL TAIF has appointed Saif Al Dahbashi CEOSaif’s appointment as CEO of AL-TAIF will allow him to draw on his considerable experience and leadership skills to successfully lead the business operations of AL-TAIF, and to deliver growth consistent with the company’s overall vision. A major component of this strategy is the continued support and development of the UAE’s sovereign capabilities. This is because it seeks to become a global centre for advanced technologies and defence related services.

Al Dahbashi, who was previously Al Taif’s Chief Operating Officer, is well qualified for this role as he brings to it 17 years of experience in shaping and implementing large scale transformational programmes across major commercial organizations, including major UAE companies such as Strata Manufacturing and Mubadala Investment Company.
