    Iranian President and Sultan of Oman hold official talks

    His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today held a round of official talks with President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi of the Islamic Republic of Iran at Al Alam Palace. The talks explored various aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways of enhancing the strong ties binding the peoples of Oman and Iran. The aim is to exchange views about issues of common concern.

    Iranian President and Sultan of Oman hold official talksThe official talks sessions were attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, HH Sayyid Taimour bin Asa’ad Al Said, Chairman of the Central Bank of Oman’s Board of Governors, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, and other senior officials attended.

    From the Iranian delegation, Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollaian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Brigadier Mohammed Reza Gharaei, Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics, Sayed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Minerals and Trade, Rostam Qasemi, Minister of Transport and Urban Development, Javad Oji, Minister of Oil, Ali Salehabadi, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran and several Iranian officials.
