    Iraq-Iran to finalize gas supply contract, Turkey deal signed

    Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity announced today that it intends to sign a new contract with Iran regarding gas supplies. In addition, it noted that the connection with Turkey has reached 100%. A government delegation is scheduled to visit Iran to resolve the issue of gas supplies and rates, the ministry’s spokesman, Ahmed Musa, said in a statement.

    Iraq-Iran to finalize gas supply contract, Turkey deal signedA meeting between the ministry officials and representatives of the people was held during which the ministry presented its preparations, needs, and plans in place for the prospect of a visit to Iran by the delegation at the beginning of the next week, which could result in a new contract including new commitments between the two parties in regard to prices.
