    Iraqi Oil Minister agrees to implement five projects with TotalEnergies

    Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, Iraq’s Minister of Oil, and TotalEnergies CEO agreed on the timing of five projects on Thursday. According to a statement, “Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail met with Patrick Pouyanne, CEO of TotalEnergies Company, in Paris,” also noting that a number of company officials attended the meeting, along with the accompanying delegation from the ministry.

    Iraqi Oil Minister agrees to implement five projects with TotalEnergiesThe parties discussed programs, job opportunities, and joint ventures in the oil and energy sector, as well as agreed on timing for a few joint ventures. Projects include investing in associated petroleum gas in a number of oil fields in southern Iraq, enhancing the Artawi field’s production, and transferring sea water to support oil field operations.
