    Mohammed bin Zayed meets president of Liberia

    Earlier today, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received President George Weah from Liberia at Qasr Al Shati Palace. Weah conveyed condolences over the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and described the late president’s role in the comprehensive development drive in the UAE. Additionally, he congratulated H.H. Sheikh Mohamed on his election as UAE President and wished the emirates continued progress and development.

    Mohammed bin Zayed meets president of LiberiaLiberia expressed its willingness to extend cooperation with the UAE via constructive partnerships that benefit from the country’s development model during the next stage of the cooperation. President Weah extended his gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed for the sincere feelings he felt over the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa. He also expressed his appreciation for the leadership and people of the UAE.

    The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, along with a number of officials and the delegation accompanying the President of Liberia
