    Oman Health Ministry Holds Good Pharmacy Practice Symposium

    The 16th annual symposium on Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) concluded in Oman. Organized by the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drug Control, the event was organized by the Ministry of Health. The event was held under the auspices of Dr. Fatimah Mohammed Al Ajmi, the undersecretary for administrative, financial, and planning affairs in the Ministry of Health.

    Oman Health Ministry Holds Good Pharmacy Practice SymposiumIn his welcome speech, Dr. Mohammed Hamdan Al Rubai’e, Director General of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drug Control, said this event is conducted annually to develop knowledge of private sector pharmacists. A key objective of the symposium is to keep up with scientific and pharmaceutical innovations to provide distinctive community pharmaceutical care. The symposium was attended by 250 pharmacists and assistant pharmacists in Oman’s private sector.
