    Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning visits Portugal

    Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, paid an official visit to the Republic of Portugal, during which he met with the Portuguese Minister of Economy and the Seas Antonio Costa Silva and several senior government officials. During the meeting with Antonio Costa Silva, issues of common interest were discussed and the economic relations between the two countries were reviewed.

    Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning visits PortugalThe Saudi Minister also met with Joao Gualamba, Portuguese Deputy Minister and Secretary of State for the Ministry of Energy. During the meeting, they reviewed opportunities for joint cooperation between the two countries. Al-Ibrahim met with the President of the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal (AICEP), Luis Castro Henrique, as well as the Executive Secretary of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), Zacarias da Costa. Both sides emphasized the importance of developing an understanding based on mutual interests.
