Kuwait won three gold medals on the first day of the International Figure Skating Championship (Emirates Skate), which is happening in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and will last for three days. For the Kuwaiti team, Jori Al-Mullah, Mudhawi Al-Hamdan, and Jana Al-Shamlan won medals.
Vice President of the Kuwaiti Winter Games Club Khaled Al-Mutairi said this achievement was due to the outstanding preparation Kuwaiti skaters received from the club for this tournament. Kuwait Winter Games Club offers five sports: figure skating, ice hockey, curling, ice skating and speed skating.
